More About Me

Michelle Joachim-Brathwaite of Waite1ToCrossover is a comforting hands provider within the community. A lifelong community service member caring for her family, friends, community, and professionally for over 40 years. Humble, and truly understanding about what her clients are facing. A great advocate as a doula for those that are struggling with many issues and not just the immediate concern of anticipated grief and loss. Trained and certified at the University of Vermont and with the International End of Life Association, she has helped many clients within her community walk through the humanizing and dignified approach to End-of-Life process.   She is a unique set of extra hands when it matters and brings purpose to life on the edge and especially, when the storm seems to never cease. I have served on active-duty Navy for 27 years in and out of combat. Specializing in Finance, Budget, Logistics, Procurement, Acquisition, Lodging, Food Management, Leadership, all while being a single parent. I earned my Doctor of Ministry as well as all other academic degrees to challenge myself in difficult arenas. I have earned many accolades, but what keeps me going is being called flexile and able to incorporate all my professional experiences in what life tosses at you without looking like you have been hit with a brick. My specialty is Pastoral Care Ministry and Wholistic Care preparation. Michelle currently resides in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
